The Apple iPad mini is almost the same as the iPad 1 or 2. As you possibly already know it is a lot thinner (more than 7mm!) and smaller. In this article I’m going through the pros and cons of the first iPad mini.

I think one of the most important things of a tablet or phone is the screen. And probably Apple thinks the same way as me. That’s why the iPad mini has a beautiful 7.9-inch display! Not only are movies and pictures fabulous on the iPad mini it also has the same resolution of the iPad 2. That means you can download all 275,000+ designed  apps for the iPad. You don’t have to wait for new apps or compared to the Google Nexus 7 where only a couple apps are made for it.

The performance is also very good, with the newest A5 chip in it you can run the biggest games like GTA or Need for Speed on max settings. Not only is the display a characteristic but also the battery life. Like Apple said: the iPad mini wouldn’t be an iPad without a powerful battery. The iPad mini has an incredibly battery life of 10 hours! Not 10 hours standby mode but 10 hours of gaming, reading, watching videos or whatever you want!

Another fantastic feature is the new camera, filming in 1080P or the 5 megapixel camera.

The Wi-Fi feature also changed, it is about 2 times faster than the previous generation iPads!

Also Siri got a lot smarter! You can ask things like What was the score of the Giants – Dodgers game.

So far the iPad mini looks incredible the only thing is the price for about 330 bucks you can get your iPad mini, but is it better than Google’s Nexus 7?
